His Love

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" John3:16

The word love has always been misunderstood and misused. We easily say "I love you" disregarding the repercussion of the statement. We use it casually to talk about everything. More profoundly, we talk of how much we love our spouse, parents, children, brothers, and sisters. The tragic fact is that one day their love may not meet up to the expectation we have - we want to be number one is someone's priority list, we want our loved ones to busy their minds with thoughts of us and how to make us happy all the time. If that expectation isn't met it becomes a problem. We feel the whole world is against us, but I've come to realize that no one can love you beyond his/her capacity to do so. The good news is that there's Someone whose love is limitless.

God is love, love is His nature. He shows steadfast love to all regardless of race, tribe, gender, class, religion etc.

His love is wonderful. His love is overwhelming. His love is amazing. His love is unconditional. His love knows no bounds. His love is mind blowing. His love is sacrificial. His love is empowering. His love emboldens. His love is encouraging. His love is addictive. His love is reliable. His love is relentless. His love is available. His love never fails. His love doesn't segregate. His love forgives and forgets. His love provides. His love protects. His love still calls out to us even when we purposely ignore Him. His love waits patiently for us to accept His call. His love embraces us like a father desperately waiting for His beloved child to come back home. His love guides and guards us in our darkest hour. His love shows us mercy and grace we certainly don't deserve. His love stays awake all through the night watching over us. His love is enough and most importantly his love is everlasting!

Regardless of the mistakes of the past, out of ignorance or negligence, Love still calls out your name. God is still in the business of renewing men and restoring lost years. Never assume that you're worthless because of your past record, you cannot change your past but you can change your present to have a better tomorrow.

You're more than your failures, you're more than who you think you are, you're more that what people say you are. Fight every voice in your mind that says you're not enough. Let no one but God define you.

God is more than able to refine a trash to pure gold. Don't let your experiences weigh you down; turn your mess to a message. Count yourself blessed to have gone through trials because your story will serve as inspiration to many. Cheer up, let go of what you can't change and let God have His way in your life.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding, in all ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your path ( Proverbs 3:5-6). Make a decision today to use your story as a tool for personal transformation.
